Guest guest
>>>I have searched the internet, asked at healthfood stores... where can you buy cereal flakes that are Gluten Free? I would like to find Amaranth and Quoina.. I haven't found Amaranth flakes (although that doesn't mean that they aren't available somewhere), but enjoy using Quinoa flakes. Ancient Grains makes them (available in some regular supermarkets) and I've also found them in bulk packaging at several health food stores. A large quantity, bulk container of them can be purchased online at www.andysmarket.com . If you cannot find it listed on their website, inquire by email or phone. I know they do ship. Hope this helps, LaDonna
Guest guest
I found Quinoa Flakes at our local grocery store, Giant Foods. (We're in Penna.) Haven't used them for anything yet, though. Tell tell tell : " ) I know that the different stores will carry different items. Here at the Glen Burnie store, we do have a little section of Asian/Thai foods so I can get big bags of rice noodles cheap cheap - $1.00 for a 1 lb bag. They didn't have that at the Annapolis one. I go to Pennsylvania a lot - could you tell me what town your Giant is in? I have tried to get Giant to carry a few GF items (even just cookies would be nice) but no luck. We have a Barbara's GF cereal. some Annie's frozen entrees, and a Van's GF waffles. Maybe I can grab some good stuff at your Giant!
