Un-Catsup (from Un-Tomato Sauce)

1 recipe 'Un-Tomato Sauce'

2 sticks celery, finely diced

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon dry mustard

1/4 cup onion, chopped

1/2 cup GF white vinegar

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

4 tsp sugar

 

 

Add all ingredients to the pan and boil until reduced and thick. Stir

frequently to prevent sticking. This usually takes about one hour.

Strain sauce. Freeze in small portions.

Ketchup always has allspice. Add a litle to this recipe and see how much

more it tastes like the real thing!
