Found it, in one of my folders, but I had to remeber where I put the

folders first.

 

 

Un-Tomato Sauce

 

 

one 16 oz (450 g) can beets, drained well

two 16 oz (450 g) cans carrots, drained well

2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice

1 cup water

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon oregano

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon basil

1/2 teaspoon sugar

 

 

Puree completely in a food processor. Let sit for several hours in

the refrigerator for flavors to blend. Add onion, garlic and Italian

seasoning (if desired) etc. for a spaghetti sauce.
