Guest guest
I have encountered problems eating foods from manufacturers gluten free web site lists. Examples: Organic food bars (Yellow wrapper, raw food bar) claims to be GF right on the package but includes wheat grass and barly sprout juice in the ingredients. When I was newly diagnosed I tried one and paid the price! Edward and Sons Instant Miso Soup with Tofu: I tried this stuff based on the GF list on their web site. The batch I got was not GF. Based on my reaction it was barley that did it but no such ingredient appeared on the label(I tried the Golden Miso Soup from the same company with no trouble). This is why we have to be advocates for each other. Because no one takes our diet as seriously as we do. A question: Does anyone out there eat Genisoy soy crisps? These are supposed to be GF but seem to give me abdominal pain after I eat them, not a celiac reaction, but just pain. Just curious. tom
