Guest guest
Sue, How about freezing up some stews and chilis ? Before our youngest was born, I froze up a lot of muffins and bread. Having a shopping list for my husband was important as well.he didn't know where I got a lot of the special items. Things to stock up on would be potatoes and pastas..those would give you meals nearly as quick as freezer ones. I've found that most of our meals (GFCF, occasional eggs) just don't freeze well. On the hot pocket question, I'm looking for those as well. Best I've come up with so far is my biscuit recipe wrapped around a mashed potato/kasha and onion filling.
