Guest guest
Here's some of our favs, o Lasagne with or without salad. o Spinach lasagne with or without salad. o Tofu veggie or asparagus quiche and salad - something handy that can be made ahead of time and served cold if we have something on in the late afternoon. o Sweet and sour stir fry (use frozen veggies if you're in a hurry). o Bean tacos. o " Sausages " and veggies, or just " sausages " in GF bread. o " Sausage " rolls. o Vegetable pasties. o Pizza. o Falafel in tortillas with lettuce, tomato and a tahini-garlic sauce. o Fajitas. o Nut or veggie burgers with veggies or salad. o Soup and fritters for an easy Sunday dinner. o Pasta alfredo. o Spaghetti. o Vegetable and chickpea curry. o Tofu baked in satay sauce, served with veggies. o Rissoto. If I have time I'll sometimes make a soup - usually carrot, pumpkin or broccoli and leek. Occasionally, especially if we have guests or are going out to eat, I'll make a bread topped with sun-dried tomatoes, olives, capers, roasted capsicum (bell peppers) and herbs - goes down really well even with the non-veggie, non-GF people. Then there's garlic bread or mini multigrain loaves. Our veggies are very rarely plain : - Potato wedges. - Garlic and rosemary baby potatoes. - Cheeze potatoes (recipe posted by Amy). - Baked potatoes with sour " cream " . - Cauliflower in parsley sauce. - Stuffed mushrooms. - Carrots Lyonnaise (recipe posted by LaDonna). - Mixed baked veggies. and so on. We rarely eat dessert, but when we do it may be : > Apple crumble with custard. > Lemon poppyseed cake. > Carob cake. > Fruit salad. > Banana custard. > Carob pudding. > Fruit smoothies. > Lemon tofu cheesecake. > Banana and walnut cake. There are so many more ideas in the files, have you checked them out yet ? Hope this gives you a little inspiration, Kim. , " lickifu " <d_dungey@h...> wrote: > > > Hi all, > > I am so uncreative when in comes to meals and I can never ever think > of what to make. > > Can anyone suggest meal plans, meal ideas, shopping ideas, etc.?
