Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

2 cups all purpose flour -- plus additional for

kneading and rolling

1/4 cup margarine

1 tsp salt

1 cup boiling water

Put flour in bowl. Add margarine in thin slices, then salt.Stir in 1

cup of boiling water, and mix together with a large fork. When the

mixture has formed a mass, take it out of the bowl and put it on a

well-floured board. Knead until it becomes a soft, sticky dough that

is easy to work.

Form it into a ball, and cover with plastic wrap so it doesn't dry

out, Let rest as least 1/2 hour.

Roll dough out about 1/16 " thick. Cut dough into squares. Fill and

crimp, using cornstarch-water paste (2 Tbs cornstarch + 3 - 4 Tbs

water).

Cover with a cloth, and allow to partially dry before cooking. Turn

several times so they dry evenly.

Deep fry - 360 F until nicely browned - 2 - 3 minutes.

Steam - usually about 20 minutes.

Boil - cook 1 -2 minutes longer after ravioli rise to surface.

Bake - 350 degrees for 20 - 30 min.
