Guest guest Posted November 23, 2004 Report Share Posted November 23, 2004 POKE - TOFU VERSION 1 cup sesame seeds, toasted 3 lbs firm tofu, drained, cut into 3/4 cubes 6 bulbs green onions with greens, sliced 1 Tbsp chili pepper flakes Or 2 Hawaiian chili pepper, minced 1/4 cup sesame oil 1/2 cup Bragg's Liquid Aminos 1 red onion, thinly sliced 2 Tbsp raw sugar 1 pkg roasted nori sheets Roast sesame seeds in heavy cast iron skillet on hot until dark brown, stirring constantly. Do not add oil. Place tofu in large bowl. Sprinkle with the seeds. Add remaining ingredients, except nori. Break nori in small pieces and process in a blender or food processor until finely ground. Sprinkle over other ingredients, and mix gently. Chill for at least 1/2 hour and serve. " I send you love and good dishes --- from my house to yours!
