Is apple cider gluten free? Ive gotten lists from the local grocery stores...

winn dixie and publix listing their store brand gf items but vinegars

are not on those lists. If they're not gf,is there a way to make it

yourself? Ive a vitamix I make flours in and everything else. Thank

When in doubt, contact the manufacturer directly. However in general, I am under

the impression that apple cider vinegar is gf. I use two different kinds in my

cooking regularly.

 

As far as I know, the only type that comes under question is white vinegar which

can be made from assorted grains. However, Heinz has told us they use corn as

the base for their's, so they promote it as gf.
