Guest guest Posted June 29, 2005 Report Share Posted June 29, 2005 Hi Lena In regards to rice cakes and puffed stuff, my wholefood guru friend in Perth says that to try not to have them too often as they have been heated at rather high heats which damages the grain. Key is not to have them daily, I try to alternate all the foods I give my children (gluten, dairy and egg white intolerant), so that they don't get too " saturated " with one type of food. I know it's a pain, but nobody said it was easy. Maintaining balance is very important. My kids have some salad everyday and twice a day (if we are eating at home).
