For folks wanting to make their own smoke-flavored foods, their smoke-flavor is safe, too! http://www.talkotexas.com/faq.html Their okra pickles aren't slimy. I like homemade slimy pickles, but these are good, too! Since most smoked nuts aren't gluten-free (and I've not found any that are soy-free in a long time), I often add hickory smoke seasoning (dry or liquid) to almonds for a good hiking snack.
