Guest guest
Hello Vegetarians, I'm not exactly a vegetarian, but I love to cook and experiment with new recipes. Tofu is one of my favorite things to eat; so I was disappointed the other night when I attempted to make tempeh: I followed the directions on the package (add a little oil and soy sauce and pan fry a few minutes on each side). It came out awful! It was so bad I couldn't finish it. The tempeh I used was from Trader Joe's, it's three-grain tempeh. What did I do wrong? Not only did it taste bad, it had a horrible, rubbery consistency. I have another package of this stuff to go through, so any suggestions on how to improve would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
