Guest guest
Dear Sirs: My name is Changkil and I represent voice for animals at South Korea. I would appreciate if you respond to my question. How old the puppy need to be before it can be sold at the pet shop? Korean government is going to regulate the age of the puppy to be sold at the pet shop by the request of animal organizations. Animal organization have asked the puppy need to be sold at least 3 month old before it can be sold. Would you tell me if the US, European countries, or Japanese government has any legal requirement for this. According to the pet shop association in Korea, US and European countries requires only 40 days old before it can be sold. Also Japanese government has no regulation on this and usually 45 to 60 days old puppies are sold at the Japanese pet shop. We don't know if this information is true or not. Please help me if you have right informaion on this . We do have open hearing for the regulation for this and I appreciate your response.
