Guest guest
Louise, Shari gave a definitive answer on shipping by air on my forum, Raw Food Lifestyle http://snipurl.com/sf3a. As for having fruit delivered by truck in the summer months in the south, I've had no problem as long as it was delivered timely. The only incident that I had was when a couple of boxes got buried in the mail at the post office and stayed there from Thursday until up in the following week. I was calling whenever the post office was open but failed to let them know that I had a tracking number (a big no-no). When I gave them that, they were able to look it up and realize that yes, they had them. The vendor made it good even though he wasn't the one at fault. I'd ordered from http://www.cherimoya.com. Vendors depend on repeat business for their livelihood so they are going to do everything possible to make sure their produce gets to its destination in the best condition.
