Guest guest
Stevia Chocolate Syrup 1 cup unsweetened cocoa 1 tablespoon pure stevia extract (may use powdered/extract may contain non-gf ingridients unless it is water based) 1 cup water 1 tablespoon vanilla (gf) Blend the cocoa and stevia in small saucepan. Over low - medium heat, gradually stir in the water. Simmer for a minute or two until mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. If mixture is too thick, gradually blend in warm water until desired consistency is reached. You will not need much of this syrup to flavor your favorite drinks. For a delicious fat-free milkshake, blend 1 cup of milk alternative with 6 - 7 frozen milk cubes and desired amount of chocolate syrup. Mixed with seltzer water, it makes a delicious chocolate soda like the ones you used to get at the soda fountain. It can be used as a topping on dairy free ice cream or any other treat that calls for chocolate syrup. Caution: If you are currently using a commercial chocolate syrup, you will use much less with this home-made mixture, so be careful. Just add a little at a time.
