Guest guest
I wasn't vegetarian then, but they do have vegetarian options. It's much more flexible than it used to be -- no required foods (some are strongly encouraged, though, like milk), and you can put your own food together using their guidelines. Guest guest
Shoot. I hit D instead of E and deleted my response instead of sending it. Here goes again: I was a vegan when I did Weight Watchers, lo those many years ago, and I did great on their Fat and Fiber plan. Basically, that plan has five rules: 1) 15-35 grams of fat per day, no more, no less. 2) 20+ grams of fiber per day. 3) Limit refined sugar. 4) Limit alcohol. 5) Drink 6-8 glasses of water per day. My mom and I went on the plan. I lost 40 lbs. in 8 weeks and never gained it back. It was the only healthy diet I ever went on, and the thing I loved most was that the answer to " Boy, am I hungry " was that you were supposed to *eat* -- just stay away from fat. I ate lots of beans and brown rice and stuff, and was essentially on the McDougall plan, except that McDougall allows *no* added fat. One thing mom and I noticed, though, was that one minute we would be fine and the next minute, we would be so hungry we could bite your arm off. We learned to keep emergency food on hand. (Fat is what lets you know you're full, basically.) Serene
Guest guest
Hi... I'm an ovo-lacto vegetarian and currently doing weight watchers. I love it. I'm doing the flex points program and you can eat whatever you want, within points. I do the program online and they have something called a meal maker, or whatever. It plans your meals for a whole week and you can choose a vegetarian option. They also have lots of vegetarian and vegan receipes on the website. Sara Shoot.
