Guest guest Posted October 23, 2007 Report Share Posted October 23, 2007 My family and I are transitioning to mostly raw by following the Hallelujah Diet - 85% raw, 15% cooked. See www.hacres.com. I would love to be farther along in my transition! I started including more raw in my diet in January of this year, but have " fallen off the wagon " several times. I need help in doing more raw. I purchased a dehydrator, but am having a hard time finding good recipes for dehydrated foods that I can serve for dinner. If anyone has any suggestions on a good source of dehydrated recipes I would love to know it! My oldest son has respiratory airway disease, which he developed after a watermelon seed he inhaled entered into his lungs at age 3. Whenever he got the slightest cold, he used to have difficulty in breathing, much more severe than someone with asthma. Steroids that were prescribed did NOTHING to help him. As of June of this year, about 3 years after the " watermelon seed incident, " he has not had an " attack, " although he has had slight colds! I thank God for leading us to the Hallelujah Diet because it has helped him. I haven't seen the documentary that you mentioned but will look at it! Thanks for sharing it!
