ELEPHANT KILLED IN ASSAM: WWF CALLS FOR PRESS CONFERENCE

In Assam, the Forest Department has killed the another elephant whilst

seeking to kill ' Osama bin Laden.' WWF has called for a press conference

today, Azam is attending. I have been informed in South Bengal too, an

elephant was declared a rogue and named Laden. The Forest Department of

Bengal has also published a formal paper suggesting culling in December,

2005. It is being countered at the moment. More information on the culling

issue in India is awaited.
