Guest guest
I got this from a friend, who got it from a friend.. =) so I figured I'd share it with some friends! =) =) jenni " Global Exchange has an agreement with Starbucks that says Starbuck's will brew a cup of Fair Trade Coffee for any customer who asks for it . Since they don't advertise it, the key is to ask for it! You can also buy Fair Trade Coffee beans at Starbucks. SO...If you go into any Starbucks and request a cup of fair trade coffee, it is company policy that they MUST brew a cup for you, at no additional cost. Usually, they will make a single cup in a French press for you--you get fresh strong fair trade coffee for the price of their " daily brew " and you get to make a statement at the same time. Usually the baristas will comply with your request without hassle, but sometimes I have had to insist it is their company policy. I have never backed down, and always got my cup of fair trade coffee.
