Guest guest
Hi Shoshonnah, Thanks for the thumbs up and support. = ) Yes, I have seen improvements in certain areas specifically my energy and my chronic sinuses of 15 years and that in itself is a major milestone. LOL I will keep my chin up and know these healing crises of sorts shall too pass. = ) Luv LuLu - EDUCATIONmatters Tuesday, September 06, 2005 5:04 PM Lulu Hey Lulu, Shoshannah here....I also took a while to get better once I went gluten free. I was on the verge of being diagnosed with lupus and sjogren's. It did feel as if it was going to take a while for my symptoms to subside because it took a while for them to creep up on me. At least that was my impression at the time. You may be correct that the longer one has been sick the longer it takes for them to get better. It may also depend on how sick they are at the time of going gluten free. Hang in there. You still have antibodies for celiacs or gluten intolerance in your system even though you are gluten free. I took the Enterolab fecal matter test for gluten intolerance almost six months after going gluten free, and my antibodies were still there and higher than my niece's antibodies. And she took her test while still on gluten. I don't know what your symptoms are, but you may want to try some bee pollen when you get sick. It is only temporary anyway. You may be experiencing a lot of ups and downs along your gluten free journey, but I think the trend is going upward for you. You will get there.
