Vegan Social after the AGM

Whether or not any of you are attending the Vegan Society AGM and

making use of the creche, I hope that some vegan families will attend

for the entertainment and social afterwards, as I have been working

on making this a more family-friendly occasion.

 

The entertainment (a singer) and cookery demonstration is from 4 -

4.30 pm, the social is from about 4.30 to 7 pm at Conway Hall, Red

Lion Square, London, WC1, and I have found a vegan dad called Dave

who will come along with his guitar and lead a sing along for the

children sometime during the entertainment or social time. You are

asked to bring along kiddies drums, bells, shakers, etc, for them to

join in.

 

I am also hoping to ensure that there is some child-friendly food on

offer, such as sos rolls or veggieburgers as part of the catering.

Lunch is from noon until 2 pm, before the AGM but light refreshments

will be available throughout the day.

 

We hope to see many vegan families there on 26th October.

 

By the way is anyone on this group going to the AGM, families or not?
