Coconut Chutney

Coconut chutney is served as an accompaniment to many South Indian

dishes,

such as dosa and idli.

 

 

2 cups fresh shredded coconut

1 - 2 split green chillies

5 cloves garlic

1/2 cup chopped cilantro (coriander)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup water

 

 

Grind all ingredients well in a blender.

 

Do not keep for more than 1 - 2 days.
