Guest guest Posted April 12, 2005 Report Share Posted April 12, 2005 Delicious Refried Beans Source: Recipes of Friendship Cookbook 1 --- 28 oz. can pinto beans, drained 1/4 cup cashews, washed 1/2 cup water 3/4 tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. lemon juice 1 Tbsp. nutritional yeast flakes (optional) 1 Tbspl onion powder 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. cumin Mash beans into a saucepan. Blend water and cashews until smooth. Add to the beans. Mix remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. Delicious!
