Guest guest Posted April 12, 2005 Report Share Posted April 12, 2005 Oven Baked Brown Rice Source: Recipes of Friendship Cookbook 2 cups brown rice 4 cups boiling water 1 tsp. salt Combine in a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour. OR Don't use boiling water and add 1 1/2 extra cups of water. Bake for 2 hours. Use in all recipes that call for cooked brown or white rice. *This is great served with a sunflower seed dressing and chopped tomatoes.
