Guest guest
Hello, I understand the changeover choices for your family, Stacie. If you pop in here more often, you will have a lot of willing support. So far I am doing well as primarily vegetarian, for one year. I hesitate to admit this: I have fish, shellfish rarely, but I am making gradual progress, away from any animal protein. Hubby is going along with this way, with no problems, but has other protein when he eats out. I think it is hard at first to organize for cooking veg., but a lot easier as time goes on. We had spaghetti sauce with soy crumbles and mushrooms yesterday, and I could easily have had just the veg sauce. I was sort of surprised that I didn't really care if there was even the soy " burger, " in it. I rarely have any cravings for other than plant protein. This is why I can see it is a gradual process of changeover, that we don't even notice. Thanks for the support here, everyone. We are now retired in AZ, for the largest share of the year, then back to Sisters, OR in the summer. Are there other OR or AZ people from the USA, here?
