Guest guest Posted February 25, 2004 Report Share Posted February 25, 2004 SEEDY YELLOW TOFU 1 lb. tofu, cut into 1/2 to 3/4 inch cubes 4 tbsp. cooking oil or vegetable ghee --SEED MIXTURE:-- 1 tbsp. black mustard seeds 1 tbsp. cumin seeds 1/2 tsp. fennel seeds 1 tsp. sesame seeds 3/4 tsp. turmeric 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste) Heat oil in 9 or 10 inch frying pan until hot. Add salt, turmeric and cayenne and stir. Immediately add seed mixture and stir. Let them fry for 15 seconds and add tofu and fry, stirring occasionally.
