Guest guest Posted April 10, 2005 Report Share Posted April 10, 2005 Cashew-Coconut Milk Source: The Joy of Cooking Naturally 1 C raw cashews 2 C water 1/4 C dry (or 1/2 C fresh) macaroon coconut 6 dates 1/4 t salt 1 t vanilla Liquefy all ingredients thoroughly. Add enough ice water to make a total of 2 qts. Leftover milk pulp can be added to hot cereals, to granola before it is baked, or to bread dough. Yields 2 qts.
