Guest guest Posted October 6, 2005 Report Share Posted October 6, 2005 * Exported from MasterCook * Healthy Apple Salad Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : New Import Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- DRESSING: 4 tablespoons orange juice 1 tablespoon honey [MAY SUBSTITUTE Maple Syrup or Brown Rice Syrup] 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger root FRUITS AND VEGETABLES: 1/2 cup sliced or chopped celery 4 apples -- peeled, chopped or sliced 1/3 cup almonds -- whole or chopped 1/2 cup raisins or dry cranberries Begin by mixing the orange juice, honey and grated ginger root to create the dressing. Now set up the fruits and vegetables into a large bowl. Pour dressing onto apples, nuts, celery or cranberries. Chill for one hour.
