Guest guest Posted October 6, 2005 Report Share Posted October 6, 2005 Sweet and Sour Tofu 1 12 ounce package of firm to extra firm tofu 1 red or green bell pepper 1 onion 3 cips of pineapple chunks 16 ounce jar of sweet and sour sauce Chop onion and bell pepper into 1/2 inch to 1 inch pieces. Drain tofu and pat dry with paper towles and cut tofu into 1/2 inch to 1 inch cubes. Heat a large skillet and a very small amout of oil and saute tofu for 2-3 minutes as it sears. Add the onion and bell pepper. Continue to stir fry until vegetables are crisp-tender. Add the sauce and pineapple and bring to a boiling point and turn heat to simmer and let simmer on very low for about 7 mins. stir often but don't break up the tofu.
