Guest guest Posted June 9, 2005 Report Share Posted June 9, 2005 I've read countless articles that state that fruit should be eaten alone and not mixed with other foods.... yet have also come across a ton of recipes that include fruit with other foods (such as veggies, grains, nuts/seeds, etc....). I absolutely love eating and Apple with raw nut butter, but am now hesitant to do so. I guess eating fruit with anything causes it to ferment and causes gas. Whats the final word? (Cuz I sure do miss my apples and nut butter!) And if fruit + other food is a no-no, why are there so many recipes that put these foods together?
