Guest guest Posted June 10, 2005 Report Share Posted June 10, 2005 Dahl Source: Culinary DeLights/Blue Mountain Television 1/2 large onion, chopped 3 cloves garlic, crushed 2 Tbsp. olive oil 1/2 tsp. curry powder 1 tsp. turmeric 1 tsp. coriander 1 tsp. paprika 1 cup tomato juice 2 cups water 1 cup red lentils fresh cilantro Simmer onions, garlic and spices in olive oil. Add tomato juice, water and red lentils. Heat uncovered until lentils form a soft paste. Add fresh cilantro and serve. Serve with corn chips, tortillas, or cornbread.
