Guest guest Posted December 10, 2004 Report Share Posted December 10, 2004 Pecan Patties Source: Natural Lifestyle Cooking (adapted) 1 cup pecan meal 1 cup cold water 1 tsp. Bragg's Liquid Aminos 1/2 tsp. onion salt 1/2 tsp. Accent (omit if desired) Pinch garlic salt 1 cup rolled quinoa flakes Blend briefly. Place in bowl. Combine quinoa flakes. Drop on lightly oiled skillet. Cook at medium temperature until nicely browned on both sides. Cover while cooking. Adaptations: omit Bragg's Liquid Aminos and substitute your favorite herbs to avoid the " soy " in this recipe. Cooked, whole grain quinoa may be used successfully in this recipe as a substitution for the quinoa flakes. " I send you love and good dishes --- from my house to yours!
