Guest guest Posted December 13, 2004 Report Share Posted December 13, 2004 Alfredo Sauce Source: The McDougall Quick & Easy Cookbook 1 10.5 oz. package lite silken tofu 1/2 c. soy milk or water 2 T. tahini 1 T. soy sauce 1 T. nutritional yeast 1 tsp. minced fresh garlic 1/2 tsp. onion powder freshly ground black pepper to taste Combine all ingredients in a food processor (or blender) and process until smooth. Pour into a saucepan and heat through, about 5 minutes. Do not boil. Serve over pasta (gf), sprinkled with soy parmesan cheese, if desired.
