Orange Glazed Pecans

 

1 tablespoon grated orange rind

1/4 cup orange juice

1 cup sugar

4 cups pecan halves

 

Mix the first three ingredients in a 10 " round saucepan or skillet and heat

until it comes to a good boil. Toss in pecans & lower burner to " simmer "

until the liquid thickens. Then carefully spread out in a single layer on

waxed paper until cooled. The glazed pecans will break apart easily once

cooled.

These pecans can be made weeks ahead of time. Store in airtight container

until you are ready to serve or can be frozen for up to approximately 6

weeks.
