Guest guest Posted November 1, 2005 Report Share Posted November 1, 2005 Gluten Free Country Style Gravy Source: Bob's Red Mill website 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil 4 cloves Garlic, minced 1/2 Onion, chopped 1/3 c. White Bean Flour 1/4 c. Nutritional Yeast 1 Tbsp. Tamari (or Soy Sauce) - gf 2 c. Vegetable Broth 1/2 tsp. Sage 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper (optional) 5 Mushrooms, slice Salt to taste In a small saucepan, cook the garlic and onion on medium heat until tender. Add the flour, nutritional yeast and tamari to make a paste. Pour in the vegetable broth, stirring constantly. Heat until thickened, and then add mushrooms and spices. If gravy is too thick, add a little water.
