Jude * Exported from MasterCook * Cranberry Chutney Recipe By :Nava Atlas Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:15 Categories : Easy Fruit Holiday Low Fat Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 12 ounces cranberries 1 cup apple -- peeled, diced (Granny Smith) 1 cup orange juice -- freshly squeezed 1 teaspoon ginger -- fresh 1 teaspoon cinnamon -- ground 1/2 teaspoon cloves -- ground 4 tablespoons honey -- approximate Place all ingredients, except the honey, in a saucepan and bring to simmer. Cook over low heat, with the lid slightly ajar, for 20 - 25 minutes, or until liquid is mostly absorbed. Add honey to taste, and simmer, uncovered, for another 10 minutes until thick. Let cool to room temperature, and refrigerate up to 1 week. Bring to room temperature before serving.
