Guest guest
Hello All, I am so impressed with all these great recipes. I grew up on with chopped liver frequently served to company as an appetizer. Years ago, I had a vegetarian chopped liver made out of lentils. I kid you not, but this tasted like the real thing. If anyone knows anything about this particular recipe, please send it my way. I also had the most delicious shepherd's pie in sleep-away camp. It was the real deal with the mashed potatoes on top. Surely, there must be a vegan recipe out there somewhere. I am wondering if I can do my own experimenting with lentils because I think they taste like gravy when cooked. Happy New Year to everyone out there, whether you observe Rosh Hashanah or not. Shoshannah
Guest guest
I found 3 recipes for mock Chopped Liver in the files, but none of them contain lentils. I put them all together in one file anyway : 'Files' > '***Recipes Posted to VGF***' > 'Condiments - Savory and Sweet' > 'Spreads - Savory (and Sandwich Fillings)' > 'Mock Chopped Liver' Kim. , EDUCATIONmatters@a... wrote: > Hello All, > > I am so impressed with all these great recipes.
