Unfortunately many of these turtles are threatened or endangered. One of the biggest problems these reptiles face is harvesting for food. Over 30 million turtles are sent away in grossly inhumane conditions to become part of the food industry every year in Asia alone! Harvesting from the wild has devastating effects on the natural populations of turtles. Please sign the petition below to show you are against the company Tesco selling live turtles in their stores.
