Guest guest
My daughter's house has a faulty main cooker - she's in process of getting a replacement. In the meantime she has demanded I bring over one of my nutroasts. My recipe is dead simple - ground (to nearly flour) mixed nuts, seeds, oats, wheatgerm. Then a big squirt (I'm into measured amounts as you can tell) of tomato puree, crushed garlic and add soymilk or applejuice added to the beating of the above into a moist big blob. Yes, you've spotted the missing ingredient, onions. But daughter is breastfeeding my gorgeous 3 week-old grandson and onions, after being food-processed by daughtermum makes gives little Oliver tummy gripes. Normally I throw the nutroast into an oven at 350F (176.66666666666 etc C) for 30 mins or so and voila. How much do you think I should cook it in a microwave? Size of roast is about two fists. Me, I'd eat all the above raw but heyho. Geoff
