I found this in the back of a recipe book I have.

 

 

 

Worcestershire Sauce

 

 

10 cups vinegar

60g (2 oz) garlic, peeled and chopped

60g (2 oz) whole cloves

30g (1 oz) knob of ginger, sliced

4 onions sliced

1/2 tsp cayenne

2 1/2 cups treacle (molasses)

1/4 cup salt

 

 

Boil all together for 1/2 an hour then strain. Bottle when cold.
