Guest guest Posted October 4, 2005 Report Share Posted October 4, 2005 Spanish Rice 1 cup soy TVP (reconstituted) 1 med. onion, chopped 1/2 c. green pepper, diced 1 c. rice, uncooked 1 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper 8 oz. tomato sauce 1 1/2 c. water Cook TVP, onion and green pepper in a large skillet, over medium heat. Stir in rice, chili powder, salt, pepper, tomato sauce, and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15-20 mins., or until rice is tender.
