Banana Waldorf Salad

 

(2 servings)

 

Try this old-fashioned favorite with a tropical twist.

 

1/4 cup orange juice

2 large bananas, sliced 1/4-inch thick

2 large apples, cored and coarsely chopped

1/2 cup thinly sliced celery

1/2 cup coarsely broken walnuts

1/4 to 1/2 cup Banana-Poppy Seed Dressing (previous post)

 

In a large mixing bowl sprinkle orange juice over banana slices.

 

Add remaining ingredients, using enough Banana-Poppy Seed Dressing to

moisten,

tossing the mixture lightly. Chill thoroughly and serve on crisp salad

greens.
