Guest guest Posted July 3, 2006 Report Share Posted July 3, 2006 Hearty Vegetable and Bean Soup 2 teaspoons olive oil 1 onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 tsp currry powder 2 carrots, chopped 2 stalks celery, chopped 2 zucchinis, chopped 2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped 2 tbsp (8 tsp) tomato paste 1 chicken-style bouillon cube, crumbled two 450 g (16 oz) cans three bean mix, drained and rinsed 2 litres/quarts water 1/2 tsp dried mixed herbs black pepper, to taste 1. Heat the oil in a large sucepan. Saute onuon, garlic and curry powder until the onion is tender. 2. Add next four ingredients. Saute 1 minute. 3. Blend in tomato paste and bouillon. 4.
