Satay Sauce

Satay Sauce.

 

1 tablespoon (4 teaspoons) olive oil

1 onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, crushed

1 cup peanut butter, smooth or crunchy (your choice)

2 tablespoons (8 teaspoons) wheat-free tamari

1/3 cup sweet chilli sauce

1 tablespoon (4 teaspoons) brown sugar

1 270ml can (just over 1 cup) coconut milk

 

In a saucepan or fry pan sauté onion and garlic until cooked

through.

Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Reduce heat and simmer

for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
