pt, everytime i make this fruit salad, it's a big

hit.....the dressing really makes it extra special. i

hope you and your family will enjoy it.

 

i think the sweet dressing recipe is in the

files....yes.....here it is:

 

sweet dressing for fruit salad (recipe repost)

 

this is a dressing my grandmother used for her fruit

salad...it's so good. her fruit salad usually

consisted of apples, bananas, mandrian oranges,

grapes, pineapple, strawberries (sometimes), and

marachino

cherries....all cut into bite size pieces. she would

serve whipped cream and pecans on the side and let

everyone top their own fruit salad.

 

sweet dressing

 

1/2 cup sugar

1 T. flour

1/2 c. milk

1 T. butter

1 tsp. vanilla

 

mix sugar and flour; add milk. cook, stirring often,

over medium-low heat until thickened. add butter and

vanilla. poor over fruit; mix and chill.
