Guest guest
I've seen part of an infomercial that had a mandolin and a little handle with spikes on it that you put on the veggie when it gets really small so as not to cut oneself. I'm sure they are bound to sell those handles separately for those that aren't to fond of using the mandolins. Come to think of it - you all just saved me some time. I'd been trying to figure out how to take out some time it takes to chop fresh produce up. I buy nearly all fresh produce and it gets tedious from time to time chopping and chopping for salads or soups. A mandolin would help so much in the carrot, celery, potato, onion... I have a slicing blade for my processor but don't want to clean that whole thing up afterwards. Wouldn't you know it - a simple mandolin is the trick and shortcut I needed all along. Thanks gang.
