Thanks for sharing the recipe. That striped dessert looks

very impressive. My kids will love it.

 

Last Sunday i made stuffing, mashed potatoes,

gravy, etc. i just couldn't wait any longer for the

holiday time when we usually eat those things.

i will have to try adding a bit of jalapeno next time....

just a touch! i like to add chopped mushrooms, too,

and add some to the gravy for a mock-giblet effect.

Yes indeed - mushrooms, what a great idea. I'll be adding that to it as

well. I shall rinse them and not brush them thanks to Amy's book on

debunking shroom cleaning techniques! Oh yes and to Alton Brown as well. The

good ole cooking nerd. Great show.
