Guest guest
HI PT: My daughter is also 15 she will be 16 next month. We started cooking together a couple of years ago and she has switched what she wants to do from studying Marine Science or Veterinary medicine to culinary. Although I tease here about wanting to major in culinary and minor in fashion design. We have a great time cooking together. We bake, we make main courses. Most of all we have fun. She is learning that cooking and baking does not have to be so precise. I really believe that cooking, sewing and basic automotive should be taught to all kids in high school. gayle

Guest guest
That is so great you are cooking with your daughter. How old is she? My daughter is 15 and she also enjoys being in the kitchen; she really likes to bake most of all. It is a valuable life-skill for them that they will appreciate in years to come even more. i wonder how many of us here cook with our children and what their favorite meals are? ~ pt ~ Sure, I said, heav'n did not mean, Where I reap thou shouldst but glean. Guest guest
Our girls are about the same age. My daughter is my best friend. She is a fashion-deva, too! Of course he sense of style is more edgy-punk-goth- i don't know what... but very cute and creative! i agree with you completely about the sewing, cooking, and automotive repair all teens should have! She took a private sewing class last year so now she designs and alters all her own clothes. She loves cooking and baking which is awesome. Now we just have to get her interested in car repair! *lol* You are doing a great thing teaching and encouraging your daughter. Cooking with our children is a gift that stays with them forever and everyone is blessed by it. ~ pt ~ The name 'November' is believed to derive from 'novem' which is the LatinÊfor the numberÊ'nine'.Ê In the ancient Roman calendar November was theÊninth month after March.Ê As partÊof the seasonal calendar November isÊ the time of the 'Snow Moon' according to PaganÊbeliefs and the periodÊdescribed as the 'Moon of the Falling Leaves' by Black Elk. ~ Mystical WWW ~~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> , glpveg4life@a... wrote: > > HI PT: > > My daughter is also 15 she will be 16 next month.
