Guest guest
Tofu Nuggets I just made these Tofu Nuggets for my dd (17 mos) and she LOVES them. Wanted to share the recipe. TOFU NUGGETS * 16-ounce tub firm or extra firm tofu * Store bought bread crumbs or wheat germ * Cornmeal * Seasoning Salt (I used powdered vegetarian chicken broth for a little " chicken " flavor) * Ketchup or your fav dipping sauce Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cut the tofu into 3/4-inch-thick slices. Blot well between clean tea-towels or several layers of paper towel, then cut into squares. Combine the bread crumbs/wheat germ, cornmeal, and seasoning in a mixing bowl. Add the tofu chunks and stir gently until evenly coated. Arrange the tofu on a lightly oiled non-stick baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, stirring once or twice during this time, or until golden and firm. FareChase: Search multiple travel sites in one click. http://farechase.
