Guest guest
Anyone know a foolproof way to cook lentils that doesn't require me to babysit the pot? Shelly Well this is the way lentils cook just put in enough water to begin with also you can soak them first if you would like. They are like split peas and do take a bit of watching. You can cook them in a crock pot though, put them in a casserole dish and in the oven this works super!! Also use bottled water if you have hard water they have a tendency to take longer to cook. I lvoe lentils and am out so need to pick some up--I also have an awesome recipe for those too from Marcella Hazan just absolutely the best ever. They are in soup form but oh they are habit forming. I will post that one later. Hope this helps you. Linda May the sun bring you new strength by day And the moon softly restore you at night. May the rain wash away your fears And the breeze invigorate your being. May you, all the days of your life, Walk gently through the world and know it's beauty.
